Disk Space for Infocube and ODS

A simplified estimation of disk space for the BW can be obtained by using the following formula:


For each cube:

Size in bytes = (n + 3) x 10 bytes + (m x 17 bytes) * [ rows of initial load + rows of periodic load * no. of periods]

n = number of customer created dimensions, m = number of key figures

For each ODS (incl. change log):


Size in bytes = (n x 10 bytes) + (m x 17 bytes) * [ rows of initial load + rows of periodic load * no. of periods]

n = number of character fields, m = number of numeric fields
